Your Support, Step by Step
Training
You start with about 40 hours of online training, then complete two weeks (about 80 hours) of hands-on training in San Jose, CA. You’ll learn Kung Fu technique, all five age-based programs including Spectrum Stars, intro lessons and enrollment, belt testing, team training and birthday parties. Training for up to three people is included in your franchise fee.
Your head instructor learns our curriculum hands-on during this training. Ongoing coaching and curriculum updates then keep your classes consistent with every Kung Fu Kids studio.
Pre-Opening Timeline
Most studios open about 9 months after signing. You’ll secure an approved site within 90 days, with help from our real estate partner, Morrow Hill. We review your lease, approve your build-out plans and provide layout, design and signage specifications.
Grand Opening
Our trainers spend up to 5 days on-site with you as you open your doors. Sidekick Media, our digital marketing partner, sets up your local web page, phone line, Google, Yelp and social listings, and launches Google and Meta ads one month before you open. This supports your required grand opening campaign of $5,000 per month, which runs from one month before opening through your first 12 months.
